then I had COUPONS!! of-course.... I didn't have as many as I wanted/needed, but Some worked out well.
Snuggle had a $1 cpn,
downy a couple .20 cpns
Pamolive about 2.80 worth of cpns (bought 12 reg bottles, at the .50 each, which is bigger sized & about the same price I usually pay at walgreens)
Hefty .50 cpn
Bounce 1.oo cpn
Dawn direct foam .50 cpns 2 or 3 of them. (I still have my 1.50 cpns from the home mailer, but I didn't want the cashier to only use .50 of that 1.50 cpn)

For some this probably could have been cheaper, but lately I haven't been able to find softner less than like 4.oo, 3.00 if I have a cpn. Plus my oldest is leaving for MSU in a few weeks,(sniff sniff) and will need some of the stockpile!
